How is the ultrasound examination performed?
During the diagnosis, the patient lies on a couch, and a transparent gel is applied to the skin in the area under examination. The doctor then takes the sensor and starts moving it over the patient’s skin. The image of the examined internal systems and organs is transmitted to the monitor. It should be noted that some preparation may be required for a number of ultrasound examinations. In particular, during an ultrasound examination of the bladder, it is necessary that it be filled.
