Widows xp sp1

Come into play several years ago...vista had more problems at that time...but after sp1 and sp2..those problems are almost completely gone (I still keep vista installed to my computer because of this)..but unfortunately...no change in matter of vistas performance...I think...after 1 or 2 service packs...win7 will be a good OS, better than vista... But if SP1 is not needed, I can delete it. Just read somewhere that in order to get SP3 installed I needed SP1 AND SP2.No, to install sp3, you need sp1 OR sp2. Yes, the "System Requirements" info on the sp3 download page is vague and misleading: "Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows XP Service Pack 1, Windows XP Service Pack 2." The commas mean "or" -- except the comma between the two editions and the two service packs, which means "and."
