2025-04-21For linux option wasn't visible anywhere. Has this option been removed? February 22, 2025 I have managed to get Presenter running on my Linux laptop at home (so I can prepare some slides). Like Joshua, I used firefox on my laptop running Ubuntu (20.04) to try to download Presenter, and there is no Linux option. However, this is what I managed to do:In the Chromebook installation instructions, it tells you to enter a command:curl (link to chromeos download) | bashIn the Linux terminal I typed this command, but removed the "| bash". So I get text to the terminal rather than my system executing it. In there is a link to the AppImage.I downloaded that AppImage, granted execute permissions to it, then executed it in the terminal.A working version of Presenter started!Strangely, I was not able to find the Chromebook instructions yesterday, so I thought they had been removed. But I googled it again today and found them again. I thought Worshiptools was removing all Linux and Chromebook downloads and instructions from the website, but maybe not! February 22, 2025 maybe not the right post to comment on but seems to relate. I followed the above as well and was able to get it working on Linux Mint 22. However it doesn't seems to recognize custom fonts I have installed. Other programs like LibreOffice are able to see them so it seems related specifically Presenter. any input would be helpful. February 23, 2025 It seems they are making it difficult to find Linux Appimage, but I found that if you go to the Download page, then under the download button for version 2025.1.1 and then click on the "Change Log" , it brings up a list of downloads for various OS, and at the very end is Linux. Click on the linux link and a popup box lets you download "Presenter-2025.1.0.Appimage" where you can "save file". It is 142 MB size.
