Triple Slash executes quickly and is difficult for enemies to block, so it is a good way to damage all 3 Whispers.Until Rubrum gets Pressured, your job is to monitor his coming actions and prepare accordingly, by dodging, using Counterstance, or entering Punisher Mode and guarding. Use your teammates primarily for healing and for pouring on the damage when a Whisper gets Pressured.You probably haven't used Counterstance very much. You might want to run through this first Phase a few times to get the feel for the timing before moving on. The more practice you get, the fewer MP you'll use healing.In this first Phase, you don't have to actually defeat anything. Recommend taking out Viridi first because his attacks can stun you.If a Whisper survives a Stagger, its HP meter will be completely refilled and you have to start over on it. You don't want this to happen.Phase 5 -- Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith vs. 4 Whispers Who Morph into Whisper BahamutAfter dealing a small amount of damage to the usual trio of Whispers, they will unite and form Whisper Bahamut. Yuk!Top level spells like Firaga go a long ways towards Pressuring him, so have Aerith set up an Arcane Ward and make good use of all those MP she brings to the fight. This Bahamut also has a Mega-Flare, which he discharges very early on. Fortunately, it isn't nearly as devastating as the one that real Bahamut has. What a relief! If you have the Gotterdammerung equipped, this is a good time to unleash that stockpiled Limit Break.Once Whisper Bahamut goes down, you still have to take out the individual Whispers, but this should be relatively easy. When they are down, Whisper Harbinger still has a few HP. Have Aerith hit him with a double Thundara from her Arcane Ward or a Ray of Judgement, and he should go down. As a bonus, having Aerith finish off Whisper Harbinger should ensure her a place on your team for the final battle against Sephiroth.Defeating Whisper Harbinger gets your team's HP and MP restored (HP only in Hard Mode).After much chaos and destruction, Sephiroth will come gliding down and face Cloud Just before he alights, you will see the Square button sign in the lower left of the screen. That's your cue to press and hold Square so that you can regroup before the last phase.
