Bản Audio (Nhấn Play & Cuộn Liền Mạch Đến Hết Bài Viết ▶️🎶)I’ve been downloading torrent files for more than a decade. Because of my experience and tech expertise, a lot of my friends have asked me how to convert magnet links to torrent files. So, for you and everyone else who wants to know how to do it, I’ve written this guide with tips on how to convert magnet links into torrent files, to make sure you have a seamless downloading experience. But first, let’s start with the basics. What are Torrents and Magnet LinksHow to Choose the Right Client for Efficient DownloadsHow to Convert Magnet to TorrentKhắc phục Sự cố Thường gặpAdditional Tips and Resources1. What are Torrents and Magnet LinksTorrents and magnet links are the core elements of file sharing across peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. What are torrents?Một torrent is a small file that contains metadata about the content you want to download. This metadata acts as a blueprint, providing your torrent client with the information needed to locate and download the pieces of the file from various sources that are sharing it.Usually, a torrent file includes a tracker address that helps coordinate the download process, ensuring your computer connects to the right P2P sharing network. What are magnet links?Magnet links are essentially hyperlinks containing a hash – a unique identifier for the content you want to download. When you click on a magnet link, it gives instructions to your torrent client to begin searching for peers who have the data corresponding to the hash. Unlike torrent files, magnet links don’t require a tracker. They use a Distributed Hash Table (DHT) and Peer Exchange (PEX) to find other users sharing the files. In short, magnet links streamline the torrenting process. To simplify – the difference between the two is mainly in their approach to initiating downloads.Torrent files need to be downloaded and opened in a client, while magnet links start the download directly in the client without the need for a separate file. This makes magnet links more convenient and less reliant on server-hosted files, reducing the risk of dead links. However, both share the same end goal: to download and piece together files from other users’ shared data. They are used interchangeably by many in the torrent community. The choice between using a torrent file or a magnet link often comes down to personal preference or the availability of the content. Torrent files are favored when a

To you – whether it’s speed, ease of use, security, or the ability to customize. The right client can make or break your torrenting experience.Let’s Test Your Knowledge: Are You a Torrenting God or a Total Noob? Let’s See!3. How to Convert Magnet to TorrentThe conversion from magnet links to torrent files is not just about preference, it’s about accessibility and control. While magnet links are incredibly convenient, offering a quick-start download without the need for a separate file, torrent files give you a tangible asset that can be reopened, shared, and managed. Here’s a detailed guide on how to convert magnet links into torrent files using a torrent client. Here’s what you need to do!Converting Magnet to Torrent – Step-by-stepChoose a compatible torrent client: Not all torrent clients support the conversion of magnet links to torrent files. Some of them, like qBittorrent, uTorrent, and BitTorrent have this feature. Install and open your chosen client.Add the magnet link: Locate the option to add a new torrent, which is usually indicated by a plus (+) sign or an icon of a magnet. In uTorrent, for example, you can find this option under the ‘File’ menu as ‘Add Torrent from URL’. Paste the magnet link into the provided field.Adding a torrent from magnet link (photo by utorrent.com)Verify the torrent (photo by utorrent.com)Initiate the download: Once you’ve added the magnet link, the client will start retrieving the metadata associated with the link. This includes file names, sizes, and the structure of the files you’re downloading. It’s crucial to wait until the metadata is fully downloaded, which can be confirmed when you see the file names listed in the client.Create the torrent file: After the metadata is downloaded, right-click on the downloading content in your client. Look for an option that says ‘Create Torrent File’, ‘Export as a Torrent’, or something similar. In uTorrent, this option is available by right-clicking the content and selecting ‘Copy Magnet URI to Clipboard’.Save the torrent file: Choose a destination on your computer where you want to save the new torrent file. It’s a good rule of thumb to have a dedicated folder for torrent files for easy management. Confirm the creation, and the client will generate a .torrent file from the magnet link.Your torrent file is ready: The newly created torrent file can now be used as any standard torrent file. It can be backed up, shared, or reopened

For download on a website, at some point. Nevertheless, they can reduce the load on torrent index websites and also may offer a better chance of keeping a torrent alive, as once the .torrent file is on the DHT Network it theoretically doesn’t need to be available for download on a website anymore; all you need is just a Magnet Link. And in case the original site hosting the torrent goes down or doesn’t provide it anymore, links are more likely to have been propagated on the Internet than are .torrent files to be hosted for download on alternate sites. On a larger scope, the advantage of Magnet Links is their versatility given by the open nature and platform independence; the same magnet link can be used for downloading a resource using very different client applications designed for different networks and protocols (provided that the resource is available on those networks) on almost any operating system. The same goes for multi-network clients which can search and retrieve the same resource from multiple networks simultaneously, all of that with a single magnet link (due to the fact that magnet links act like an umbrella for all types of content hashes).5)Also, because Magnet Links are plain-text, it is possible to simply copy-and-paste the links into: emails, instant messages, blogs or other social networking media, allowing for a very fast distribution; a property not exactly available for .torrent files, for instance.“Magnet links consist of a series of one or more parameters, the order of which is not significant, formatted in the same way as the query string at the end of many HTTP URLs. The most common parameter is “xt”, meaning “exact topic”, which is generally a URN formed from the content hash of a particular file” 6) (e.g. the info-hash value of a .torrent file).Example: magnet:?xt=urn:btih:b0a8dbd866c5f6d2b619f17e1988f46bdace72ba&dn=Absolute+OpenBSD+-+UNIX+For+The+Practical+ParanoidThis is an example of a Magnet Link containing the “xt” parameter with a hex encoded SHA-1 hash value of the referenced resource and the “dn” (display name) parameter containing a user-friendly name of the URN.The first implementations for Magnet Links required that the BitTorrent hash values contained in Magnet Links be Base32 encoded.7) Later that was changed to hex encoding, which is the format recommended at this point for magnet links by the official BitTorrent specifications.8) However, links Base32 encoded may still be seen around and BitTorrent clients, normally, should support both formats.BitComet implemented support for Magnet Links, starting with version v.1.17. IIRC this is planned for release 2.00.
