This download record installs Intel Ethernet (LAN) Network Driver for Windows 11 for Intel NUC 13 Pro Kits & Mini PCs - NUC13AN. If your computer is currently running an older version of this driver, updating may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified. To install this package please do the following: - Click the Download button and follow the steps for saving the package on your computer.- Save all work in progress and close open applications.- Note for .ZIP archives: Extract the file and enter the newly-created directory.- Locate and run the available setup file.- Allow Windows to run the file (if necessary).- Read and agree with the License Agreement to proceed with the installation process.- Follow the instructions displayed on-screen.- Close the wizard and perform a system reboot to allow changes to take effect.About Ethernet Drivers:Windows platforms generally apply a generic driver that allows motherboards to recognize the Ethernet component. However, in order to make use of all network card (adapter) features, you must install a proper LAN driver that enables the hardware. This task enables systems to connect to a network, as well as collect all component characteristics such as manufacturer and chipset. If you intend to update the driver version, know that this process can add support for new OSes, fix different compatibility problems, resolve related errors encountered during the product's lifetime, as well as include various other changes. When it comes to the actual installation procedure, we should note that most producers try to make it as easy as possible, so following the steps should be a breeze: just get the downloadable package, run the setup, and follow the on-screen instructions. There is a chance that other OSes could also be suitable, but it is not advisable that you install this release on platforms other than the specified ones. Remember to perform a system reboot once done, to allow all changes to take effect properly. Therefore, if you wish to apply this version, click on the download button and enable your network card. Big Angry Dog Ltd has released HardWipe 4.0.1 and HardWipe Portable 4.0.1, a major new version of its ad-supported data wiping tool for Windows. Version 4.0.1 is notable for becoming a 64-bit only build, dropping support for legacy OSes including Windows XP in the process. The update also sees HardWipe transition from the Qt4 to Qt5 application and UI framework as a result of becoming a native 64-bit application.Version 4.0.1 also adds one new option -- the ability to wipe the contents of the Recycle Bin using elevated (administrator) privileges. This ensures orphaned files previously ignored with an "Access Denied" error are now wiped in conjunction with other previously deleted files. One other notable change in HardWipe 4.0.1 is that users can no longer physically wipe devices using the free, ad-supported version of the program. Instead, users must upgrade to the Professional version for $8.99 per user to gain this functionality (and remove the ads).Version 4.0.1 also includes a number of minor updates and fixes, including one that led to the cleaning process hanging indefinitely when HardWipe failed to detect verification errors under certain conditions.HardWipe 4.0.1 and HardWipe Portable 4.0.1 are both available now as free, ad-supported downloads for PCs running 64-bit versions of Windows 7 or later. Those wishing to use HardWipe on 32-bit systems can still download HardWipe 3.1.1 and HardWipe Portable 3.1.1.

I've looked at all say that windows 8 will only be 64 bitTake a look here. It mentions back in 2009 that Windows 7 may be the last 32 bit OS. #11 tf1 Technical User The only possible problem with 64-bit is if you have any legacy hardware that doesn't have new 64-bit drivers and the 32-bit drivers refuse to install. This is only likely to happen with quite old peripherals though.I upgraded three of my home computers from 32-bit to 64-bit over December and January without a hitch.Regards: Terry #12 As far as 32 vs 64 bit OS, I'd say that 32 bit OS are dead or will be soon. As far as server OS, Win 2008 is the last 32 bit OS. Windows Server 2008 R2 is only 64 bit, as far as I can tell. Several web sites I've looked at all say that windows 8 will only be 64 bit If you think 32 bit oses are dead, you don;t work in the support sector.I support several large companies that still use Windows XP 32 bit, and haven't even considered moving to Win 7 let alone a 64 bit version.32 bit may be winding down, and no longer being sold in new machines, but to say it is dead is really going out there. And iOS, but rather introduce you to the world of alternative mobile experiences. We didn't test every one of these systems for ourselves, but we highly recommend looking up videos that show the latest builds of these OSes running on various hardware to get a better idea of what to expect. You'll see that we've presented these OSes in descending order of convenience; the ones at the top are widely supported and feature complete, and the ones at the bottom are more experimental. At the very end, we've included a hardware platform that supports numerous OSes, including many of the ones we mention here. One more caveat: a few of the options listed below ship on their own hardware, most of the others will require you to own or buy specific devices. And none of them will work with an iPhone. But if you put in the elbow grease (and make frequent backups of all your important information) there's a whole world of mobile experiences waiting to be explored. And if you find you enjoy this journey, you may even be able to contribute to the creation of these platforms.. Free Download Bliss OS for Windows PC. Advanced options > Startup Settings.Click Restart to continue.Step 3: Select Test ModeYour PC will restart again. As it boots up this time, press and hold F7 on your keyboard to enter Test Mode.Windows will finish booting up with Test Mode enabled. The Recovery Environment method takes a few more steps, but gives you a fallback option if Command Prompt isn‘t working.Should You Use Test Mode? Pros vs ConsBefore you enable it, consider both the benefits and risks of Test Mode:ProsLets you test unsigned drivers and apps without restrictions. Critical for development.Safer than disabling driver signature checks completely in Windows.Creates an isolated "sandbox" protecting the rest of your system.ConsLowers security protections and opens you to crashes or malware.Requires rebooting into Test Mode instead of normal startup. Can complicate dual booting with other OSes like Linux. Not as secure as virtual machine testing. So weigh the pros and cons based on your specific needs. Also consider alternatives like VMs.Other Options Besides Test ModeFor testing unsigned code, a virtual machine (VM) is generally the safest choice over Test Mode:VMs don‘t modify your actual OS – they run in an isolated hardware-emulated environment. No need to reboot your host OS into a test environment.Lets you take snapshots and revert to a clean state.Works for testing software across OSes (i.e. Windows VMs on a Linux host). The tradeoff is that VMs incur more overhead and don‘t offer bare metal hardware access. But for most testing, a VM is the best approach.Dedicated test machines are another option if you need physical hardware access. Just be sure to isolate them from your production network.Weigh the alternatives based on your specific testing needs and environment.Step-by-Step Guide to Disabling Test ModeOnce you‘ve finished running your unsigned code, it‘s crucial you disable Test Mode immediately. Leaving it on permanently is a major security risk. Here are the steps to turn Test Mode off:Disable Test Mode through Command PromptOpen an elevated Command Prompt again as administrator.Type the command:bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFFPress Enter to run it. This sets TESTSIGNING back to OFF.Restart your PC. Windows will now boot normally with protections re-enabled.Make sure to use the same bcdedit command line that you used to enable Test Mode, but with OFF instead of ON.This resets the testsigning variable in the BCD store and turns Test Mode off. Simple as that!Alternative: Disable via MSCONFIGYou can also disable Test Mode through msconfig.exe:Open msconfig.exe.Go to the Boot tab.Uncheck the "Test Mode" box under "Boot options".Click Apply and restart your PC.Either the Command Prompt or msconfig method works to disable Test Mode – use whichever you prefer.Best Practices for Using Test Mode SafelySince Test Mode lowers security, it‘s important to enable it carefully. Follow these best practices:Only enable Test Mode when absolutely needed for testing unsigned code.Never leave Test Mode permanently enabled on your primary OS. Turn it OFF immediately after you are done testing.Do not browse the web, check email, or do any sensitive work with Test Mode activated.Only test unsigned code from reputable sources that you trust. Never run unknown 3rd party
