Many people refer to this as “the” Bullet knife because the R1123 was the first and the most reproduced pattern, however, Remington made a series of pocketknives that has the Remington cartridge shield embedded in the handle. The Bullet knives were the highest quality knives built in the 20’s & 30’s. Bullet knives were always knives that were ideal for camp or game fur & trap knives. The original Bullet knives used quality handles like bone, Cocobolo or Stag Antler handles. In 1982, Remington introduced reproductions of these classic knives.
