My apologies Member studey,I have not tried resetting/reinstalling Messages(+) on any of my 6 devices.I have only updated Messages+ on my 2 Android devices (6.8.5 to 6.8.8).I'm hoping/waiting for any of the @vzw_customer_support members to show some evidence that they've ACTUALLY READ our posts and my "send/receive matrix".My theory/understanding of how Verizon Messages works is that none of our installed apps actually "talk" to each other.Whichever app we use, sends our text to the Verizon servers and their "apps" check their list of our "Devices registered with integrated messaging service", then send the "message packet" out first to the intended "recipient" and then to each of our other devices, in turn, to keep them all in "sync".Both my Android devices sync with each other and my 3 Windows(7 and 10) devices sync with each other, but none of the Android devices syncs with any of the Windows devices.Somehow, my Apple device and Verizon Web sync FROM all other devices, but neither will sync TO any Windows device!My guess is that the Verizon Maintenance Analysts/Programmers are unable to understand how their "integrated messaging service" processes the "Devices registered with" matrix.I don't believe our "client" apps have anything to do with this FAILURE.John

I replaced my razr maxx w/ razr mini. When I changed from a blackberry to maxx they screwed up the contact transfer. This time it quadrupled my contacts. They spent 3 hr in the store trying to turn off BA and get my contacts correct. Finally decided to take the mini home clean up the contacts ONE BY ONE while the BA sync was off. Also deleted all my contacts on my verizon account (supposedly BA). Took me 4 days to clean up the contacts in the phone then resynced with BA and it put all the BAD data back in, which was supposedly cleaned out.I went back to the store (after turning off BA sync, clearing out the contacts and cleaning up the phone contacts AGAIN). They spend 2.5 hours trying to figure out what was wrong. They decided to load the corrected contacts now only in my phone to a thumb drive and load them into a newly created google account just for my contacts (I don't want to sync w/ my business google account cause it syncs everyone you've ever emailed, there seems to be know way to turn that off either). However when it synced after I got home all of the BA contacts were back in the phone!!!I then spent 3 hrs on the phone with a verizon tech, who also linked in a motorola tech and a google tech. No one seemed to know how to turn off/disable BA or why my contacts online on my verizon account said zero but on my phone it said 907 about double my actual contacts. I hate BA, BA+ and verizon cloud. All I want to do is to sync to my google contacts on one account and google mail/calendar on my business account. I'll be responsible for my own backup. Can anyone list the mutiple steps to take to stop BA & BA+? It seems like you need to Sync Services and to the Apps to stop sync. I think I’ve uncovered a problem in Audacity version 3.1.0 regarding sync-lock tracks and the new way of moving audio clips. I use sync-lock tracks on every podcast I do to keep the intro/outro music and narration synched together but separate from the host and guest(s), who are also in sync with each other. When Audacity announced the new way of moving audio clips, beginning in version 3.1.0, my first thought was how that was going to work with sync-lock tracks enabled. I’m ambivalent about my car, a 2013 Ford C-Max. Ford feels the same, discontinuing the model five years after launch. But when my wife and I bought it, the hybrid crossover seemed modern, even cutting-edge. It had Bluetooth phone pairing, a touchscreen, and voice recognition. Back then, a car that could read your text messages out loud felt like today’s self-driving Tesla.SYNC 2 (a.k.a. “SYNC with myFord Touch,” or “SYNC by Microsoft”), in all its misguided, insensitive, bizarre-color-scheme glory.But the car’s dash system, “SYNC with MyFord Touch” (or “SYNC 2”), turned out to be even more awkward and useless than its name. The voice recognition was worthless, the touch input insensitive. SYNC would randomly erase Bluetooth pairings from memory, or kill the car battery updating the satellite radio overnight. Useless software updates made you keep the engine running for 35 minutes. My loathing of SYNC 2 was matched by Consumer Reports, which considered it an actual safety hazard, as did reviewers like J.D. Power and the New York Times. There didn’t seem to be any real fix. The 8-inch SYNC screen isn’t a standard stereo you can swap out. Ford dealers didn’t offer upgrades to SYNC 3, which had a better screen and allowed CarPlay or Android Auto to take over. Every so often, I’d open a bunch of browser tabs, pray that another SYNC 2 hater had a solution, then close them. Cars aren’t cruddy Android tablets; you can’t fix what you don’t like with some code tweaks.The SYNC 3 system that was never supposed to be in my car.Except one day, I did.
