I'd like my new LG OLED48C3AUB to forward the IR signals from my non-LG IR remote via the included LG IR blaster cable. I plugged the cable into the IR Blaster jack on the back of the C3 and stuck the emitter end of the cable over the IR sensor on my Yamaha receiver but I can't get it to forward the IR signal from my Yamaha remote. I am thinking to buy an IR receiver for my HTPC. I wonder if I can make a software for my IR Receiver myself. How does ir receiver work on windows ? I mean, if I install IR

I too have to make sure the "angle" is correct. May be a case issue though. Something about this first round of cases seem off. Nah, you're right, Samsung's are IR blasters are a lot more powerful. At least LG decided to keep a IR Blaster.Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk #14 I thought I was the only one. HTC m8 had the best ir blaster compared to my v10 and my brother's s5. Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk #15 I've been using the IR Blaster on the G2 for years to control my TV and receiver. Ever since I got the V10 I have been having trouble using the IR blaster. I have to press the buttons in the remote multiple times and try multiple angles even from 10 ft away. It seems I can't even control my TV from more than 15 ft. Anyone else noticing a really weak IR Blaster in the V10? Yes. I have to sit directly in front of the TV for it to work. Off at a 30 degree angle, it doesn't work. My HTC One M9 worked fine from the same location, so I'd attribute this to the IR blaster in the V10. #16 This is kinda disappointing. I can barely even use quick remote. What's the point of even including an IR sensor if its so weak. It's more of marketing gimmick more than anything Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk #17 Works great for me...definitely

#1 Greetings,I'm new to the IR thing so I'm asking for a little guidance and experience sharing to help me get is right. The idea is to run my various tube amps through a load box and into my DAW where I'll add the CAB IR of choice. My main question is "Which CAB IR loaders work well within Luna ?". I have a Suhr Reactive Load box and an Apollo 8x going into Luna, some York Cab IRs ready for action...Thank you for your time, any preferences and experiences are welcome. #2 No native IR loader in Luna yet.Post record, I'm pretty sure you can use any ir loader. If you wanna do it in 'real time' you can load one the UA/Brainworx amps in the Unison slot, turn off the pre and power amps and select from the drop down speaker selection. The Brainworx amps each have about 120 different speaker cab/mic options. #3 No native IR loader in Luna yet.Post record, I'm pretty sure you can use any ir loader. Thx,,, I've got the Suhr RL IR but wish I could more easily access all of the York Cab IRs without having to stop and load them into the limited slots on the Suhr. So far it does sound better though with limited latency (really there's next to zero latency, I wasn't accounting for the reverb plugin). I get home, I can upload the APK somewhere if you want to try it. It is 160mb for some reason.I think LG's IR blaster is interfaced in a non-standard way(if there even is a standard). I doubt anything that works an a Samsung product would work on anything LG. LG has released the QRemote SDK, so someone could develop a better remote app.Being that I don't have a TV on LG's short list, I can't comment on the performance of the G Pad's IR blaster. I can say the LG G2's blaster is next to worthless. The LED is weak and extremely directional. You have to hold it up in the air where you can't see the screen for any device that's up high, and for televisions you have to pretty much be right in front of it and point directly at the IR eye. Useless. #11 I was able to use the G Pad 's QuickRemote at my parents house yesterday and it worked flawlessly with their TV and cable box. I was able to turn on each device, change channels, turn the volume up and down, etc. It was really freaking my mom and dad out because they had no idea that I was controlling it from my tablet! #12 I figured that I would check with a third-party dev about adding our tablet to their app, so I sent an email to the dev of Smart IR Remote asking if they were planning on adding support for the LG G2 and G Pad 8.3. They replied that LG locked and encrypted access to the IR Blaster and the only way to access the blaster is through LG's SDK. This does not allow access to the dev's database, but only to devices already working with QuickRemote. The dev is hoping LG will implement the native Android IR APIs when 4.4 comes, but their hands are tied until then. #13 Can you uninstall the G Pad version and/or disable it? After that try to install the G2 version. If you cannot uninstall the G Pad version, you can always root it, uninstall it (backup before this of course), then try the G2 version.I may give peel remote a try as it works great on my wife's GNote 10.1. Motherboard sound card, PCIe TV tuner i try to make some custom commands for madvr to go complete away from ir remote.at moment i send many commands over network, mcws and so on, but for some things i have to implement parallel ir commands. the ir commands to htpc will changed from eventghost into keyboard shortcuts.maybe i get this, then i can put away this ir gateway i need now. Logged My English is not perfect, so be merciful with me If you're trying to switch MC between RO HQ and RO Std, try using Zones. Logged No need for different zones.I make a try and it works. It's possible to send keyboard shortcuts with more keystrokes. The secret was the ; between the single types.Ctrl;Alt;Q for example works perfect. So for future my needed commands have to look like: Ctrl ;Alt;Shift;Q&Focus=1"/> The note with the resources.xml was the way to the solution. Thanks RoderickGIJimH, different zones helps a lot, but I try to make things without that. Don't wanna blow up that point more as needed. I use them only for different audio outputs till yet. Not sure if this would be an issue or not with my not-quite-up-to-date computer hardware but surely something to keep in mind. Also, would that AMS IR-library sound similarly good on any IR-capable reverb plugin, or does the Liquidsonics Reverberate 3 excel in terms of audio quality or something else? Judging from the screenshots on the Liquidsonics website it sure looks good though! You can absolutely use the Inhalt IRs in any IR reverb plugin and then add Reverberate 3 at a later date. Reverberate 3 is just one of the best (possibly the best) IR reverb plugins. It has a lot of great modulation options to breathe life and movement into static IRs. And, again, it comes with several additional IR reverbs: Bricasti M7, Lexicon 224XL, Lexicon 480, and Lexicon PCM 91. I might not need the Lexicon 480L though as just I bought Relab XL480 essentials for US$ 29 (the deal is still on one more day or so at Audioplugin deals). Other plugin sites have it for $35, so I think this is the cheapest.I don't know much about the differences in all these reverb units, but being on the lookout for anything that gives that typical 80s sound I figured this would do some of it, plus I love the user interface!
