If you encounter an issue where your microphone remains muted after attempting to unmute it, this is due to an issue with how Windows and iCUE interact with system wide audio settings.Reason: When the iCUE software is open and you mute the microphone on your HS80 MAX headset, the software applies a system-wide mute. If iCUE is subsequently closed or crashes while the microphone is muted, you might find that trying to unmute your headset (either by flipping down the microphone or pressing the mute button) doesn't work as expected. Your headset's microphone remains muted because the system-wide mute set by iCUE remains active, even though local mute/unmute actions on the headset are still functional.Cause: This issue arises because iCUE, when active, has control over system-wide audio settings, including the mute function. If the software is closed unexpectedly while the headset microphone is muted, the system retains the mute setting. Subsequent attempts to unmute the headset only affect local settings specific to the headset itself, not the system-wide settings, leaving the microphone muted on your PC.Solutions: There are two primary ways to address this issue and unmute your HS80 MAX headset's microphone:Restart iCUE: Open the iCUE software again on your computer.Unmute in iCUE: Find the microphone settings for your HS80 MAX headset within the iCUE interface and toggle the mute option to unmute. The laptop itself has no issue with the installation of Roblox, but running the program is the is the problem. I have tried installing it through the Microsoft app store but that won't work either. I disabled the app which essentially uninstalled the updates and once I reinstalled those updates, the animated emojis did work....until I restarted the phone. I'm hoping this issue is just from the most recent version of the app and will be fixed soon. Anyone having a similar experience? 2025-04-13Modified on: Wed, 20 May, 2020 at 11:54 AM This issue sometimes occurs when other apps seize control and mute the Reading Eggs app. There are a couple of easy solutions to this issue which vary depending on the model of your iPad.For newer models such as iPad Air or iPad Pro please follow these steps:Open the Reading Eggs appSwipe up from either the bottom of the screen or from the top right-hand corner to display the iPad’s control centre (the same one you would use to put your iPad into flight mode)Locate the bell-shaped mute button; this will have a line through it indicating the app has been mutedTap the bell mute icon and the sound will return to the program.For older models of iPads:Open the settings on your iPadOpen General Settings and locate ‘Use Side Switch to’If ‘Mute’ is selected, please switch it to ‘Lock Rotation’ and vice versa, if ‘Lock Rotation’ is selected please switch it to ‘Mute’Ensure that the lock switch on the side of the iPad is not in the mute positionReopen the app and the sound should play as intended. They told me the same thing.This issue happens 100% of the time after the ad(s) play.The screen goes black and then freezes ... somethings gone wrong appears.Then you start the stream again. I ended up upgrading to the add-free plan because Disney+ was useless otherwise. Funny how that works isn't it? This has to be an issue with Disney+ itself, given that multiple users experience it. When I click one face at a time, for example, the most recently selected face does not highlight until I select another face then the previously selected face highlights.
