However, defeating Rancor can get you useful items that will help you throughout the game. So, there is no reason to not try and defeat this giant beast.In this guide, we’ll tell you how to defeat Rancor in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.Rancor’s Location in Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorRancor can be found in the location named “Sodden Grotto” which is near the Rambler’s Reach Meditation Point. You will get to this area pretty early in the game and if you go to the left side of the Meditation Point, you will enter a cave from which you can get to Sodden Grotto.Rancor’s Boss FightRancor is a giant beast that you will fight at the bottom of the cave. When you get close to Rancor, you need to hit it 3 to 4 times and then back off. When it has done its move then aggress again and hit it again. You can also maintain a safe distance from it and start throwing your Lightsaber at Rancor to deal damage. It is one of the easiest and most efficient methods to kill Rancor. You can just keep throwing your Lightsaber at Rancor to defeat it.The other Red Attack of Rancor is Ground Slam where it will slam the ground to create Shockwave at your position. You can dodge it either by dashing away or double-jumping up in the air. It is easier to dodge than the grabbing attack. Other than that, the fight is rather simple. You just have to be patient in this fight as you cannot aggress much in this fight because you will get hit hard by Rancor and lose all your HP.
