But, hey, tis the season, right?!Our Disney Halloween Ideas Come From the Best Places!We recently sailed on the Halloween on the High Seas cruise with Disney Cruise Line so we were feeling a bit inspired for all things Halloween. We had seen meringue ghosts at Cove Café and just knew we wanted to incorporate those into some type of treat. Haunted Mansion was playing on Funnel Vision by the pool during our Halloween cruise which was probably also to blame. As a result, we were itching to get back to creating all types of fun treats for the Halloween season. Haunted Mansion Graveyard Dirt CupsHaunted Mansion is all about ghosts, so these little ghost meringue cups seemed like the perfect fit for a Haunted Mansion Movie Night! What better way to create a graveyard than with dirt cups?! Dirt cups are one of our favorite treats any time of year because, well chocolate. And Oreos. And let’s face it, they bring us right back to our childhood. With chocolate pudding, whipped cream, and crushed Oreos, we love how easy these are to whip up and that even little ones can help! It looks like Walt Disney is going to have quite the year in theaters with a number of high-profile releases including Haunted Mansion. The movie joins the ranks of The Little Mermaid, Elemental and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, as much-talked-about new movies of 2023. Now what makes Haunted Mansion stand out from its counterparts this summer, is the movie draws its plot inspiration from a ride at the famous Disney amusement parks. Now for those who aren't as familiar, the Haunted Mansion ride first opened at Disneyland in 1969, and since then has popped up at four other Disney properties. Starring alongside Dawson in Haunted Mansion is Oscar-nominated actress Jamie Lee Curtis. We do hope this changes, as it’s such a wonderful film, and deserves more exposure to be sure! Disneyland Resort theme parks were disconnected.There are only a set number of FastPass tickets for each hour of operation at Disneyland. On busy days, FastPass tickets run out quickly at the most popular attractions (listed below).Previously Disney was very lax regarding the return times on your FastPass ticket. However, they have since become much more strict on the rule and request that guests return within the hour window. That isn't to say there isn't a kind Disneyland Cast Member who will allow someone with an earlier ticket to use their FastPass, but these are the rules.Now the paper FastPass that is given to you at the machines throughout the park are just “reminder” tickets that can not be used for admission into an attraction, however you should keep them with you in case the scanning system goes down.Where do you get FastPass at Disneyland?You can find distribution centers for Disneyland Fast Passes near the entrances to the most popular attractions. If the listed return time on the board above the entrance to the distribution area works for you, insert your ticket to receive a FastPass ticket.
