From the trailer it appears that this newest installment will be returning to the tried and true formula of having the player locked in a security room with only cameras and doors for protection. However, the trailer also shows the player crawling through an air vent so it’s possible that players will be able to venture out of the security room at certain points in the game. Whatever the final game will look like it is probably a safe bet that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location won’t be another RPG, since Five Nights at Freddy’s World was a bit of a disaster at launch. Fans of the series will just have to wait until October to see what animatronic horrors are lurking in the shadows, until then they’ll just have to play the previous games or pick up the tie-in novel to fill that Freddy sized hole in their life.
