[Nintendo Switch] Ys I, II, III (Ys Ancient Ys Vanished / Ys 2 The

Developer’s DescriptionEnjoy the perfect mix of action, exploration and story.700 years before the events of Ys I & II, the land of Ys was on the brink of destruction. Demons came in droves and forced the twin Goddesses who ruled the land to whisk their subjects away from the surface, into the safe embrace of the clouds. The demons were persistent, however, erecting a massive tower in pursuit. The battle that raged upon the ground had begun ascending for a second round up above. One day, amidst this turmoil, the Goddesses stole away into the night, vanishing from Ys altogether. And there's only one place they could have gone: the Devil's Tower.A search party of knights and sorcerers was hastily formed and dispatched to the surface in hopes of retrieving these runaway deities. Among its members were apprentice knight Yunica Tovah and troubled sorcerer Hugo Fact. This is their story. Or at least, it's how each of them remembers it.Expanding upon the gameplay elements introduced in Ys: The Ark of Napishtim and further developed in Ys: The Oath in Felghana, Ys Origin perfects the formula by adding different styles of play and new features never before seen in the Ys universe. Best described as an arcade-like platformer RPG with Metroidvania elements and a complex, multi-faceted narrative, Ys Origin is the perfect mix of action, exploration and story. Screen-filling bosses with complex AI, unique platforming elements, innovative puzzles and a deeply involving mystery await within the wildly varied confines of this classic Ys Includes 23 items: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA - Advanced Accessory Set, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA - Bottled Potion Set, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA - Castaway Start Dash Set, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA - Economy Ingredient Set, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA - Elixir Set 1, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA - Elixir Set 2, Ys Ys X was officially announced with new information and concept art.; View our beginner’s guide to getting into the Ys series. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is releasing for PlayStation 5 natively this year.; Ys 35th Anniversary Retrospective To a friendPerfect for Zelda fansThis reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending a little over 66 hours total to complete Ys VIII, all I can say is... WOW! I had never played an Ys game before so I really wasn't sure what to expect, but I was completely blown away. I'm very glad that I didn't rush through or put it down to start Octopath Traveler immediately upon its release date, because the true ending of Ys VIII was definitely worth seeing. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think I enjoyed Ys VIII slightly more than Breath of the Wild. I certainly recognize that BoTW is a technically superior game in many ways, but I just had more fun playing Ys VIII. The story was more interesting, the characters more compelling, the combat mechanics more satisfying, and the party system & other RPG elements were very well done. In some respects, Ys VIII felt more like a traditional Zelda game than BoTW did. Don't get me wrong -- I'm a lifelong fan of the Zelda franchise and I liked BoTW quite a lot -- I just think I liked Ys VIII a bit more. I would recommend this to a friendLove this game! This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been craving a big RPG to get lost in since finishing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Every game I tried failed to fill the void... until Ys VIII. Love

It'd be better than nothing as the Oracle games are my favorite 2D ZeldasThe Oracle games are my favorite 2D Zelda games as well.rpglady76 6 months ago#16I'd love it if it happened soon (or soon-ish, anyway)! At this point our only hope is that Nintendo follows Disney's lead and does remakes of the various Zelda titles so they can keep their copyrights...THEW ORLD ISSQ QARE.AirRoar 6 months ago#17JadeTorchwood posted... Ever since they released Link's Awakening for the Switch, I keep hoping that they will do the same for the Oracle games. Would love to see them with the cute art style.Monkey paw effect would probably have the art style change to something else. Much like Yoshi's Woolly World or Kirby's Epic Yarn. I am thinking claymation possibly. "Blood and thunder..." Karja - Ys X: Nordics2025 Hype: Metroid Prime 4, Atelier Yumia, Xenoblade Chronicles X DE, Fatal Fury City of WolvesSephiroth_C_Ryu 6 months ago#18I would love to see a new Seasons game. Or a game that uses seasons as its time mechanic. Places like Click Clock Wood were among my favorite levels ever, and the mountain area of Majora's Mask kinda did it for a winter and spring theme. I am the Hunter of Topics. My post never fails to kill its prey. *pounces* Nyaa!BoardsThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of WisdomAnyone know if they will release Ages/Seasons with this style anytime soon?

Which results were stored. We have decorated our function with @jit decorator to speed it up.from numba import jit@jit(nopython=True)def cube_formula_jitted(x, y): xs = [] for i,j in zip(x,y): xs.append(i**3 + 3*i**2 + j) return xsFirst Execution¶In this section, we have executed our function using two input arrays of integers which we had created earlier. We can notice from the recorded time that it takes less time compared to the numpy vectorized and jit-wrapped functions. We have further speed up our function with these changes.arr = arr.astype(np.int64)ys = ys.astype(np.int64)%%timeres = cube_formula_jitted(arr, ys)CPU times: user 126 ms, sys: 11.7 ms, total: 138 msWall time: 137 msSecond Execution¶In this section, we have executed our jit-decorated function again with the same parameters as input to check whether the second run with the same input takes less time or more to execute. From the results, we can notice that the second run with the same parameters takes quite less time compared to the first run.%%timeres = cube_formula_jitted(arr, ys)CPU times: user 24.3 ms, sys: 16.2 ms, total: 40.5 msWall time: 46.2 msExecution with Different Data Type¶In this section, we have executed our jit-decorated function with inputs converted to float data type. We can notice from the results that the time taken is almost the same as that taken by the jit-wrapped function.arr = arr.astype(np.float64)ys = ys.astype(np.float64)%%timeres = cube_formula_jitted(arr, ys)CPU times: user 147 ms, sys: 11.7 ms, total: 158 msWall time: 157 ms[8.0, 21.0, 57.0, 115.0, 202.0]2.5 Numba Vectorize Decorated Function¶In this section, we have decorated our cube formula function with @vectorize decorator to check whether we can further improve performance using this decorator. Please take a look at the signature of the data type provided inside of @vectorize decorator. They are two entries inside of parenthesis because we have two input arrays.from numba import vectorize, int64,
