In addition, numerous fixes have been made to resolve issues raised by customers through the AltiumLive Community. While the Altium Concord Pro installer includes automated backup of your existing installation, it is always a good idea to make a pre-update backup of your data yourself – taking a redundancy copy off to one side as it were. This provides additional safety, should any unforeseen technical difficulties arise (see Backing up and Restoring Your Installation). It is advised to test out a new release of Altium Concord Pro on a different machine, before updating your production instance. Use of Virtual Machines can be invaluable in this respect. In addition, please ensure that you refresh your Concord Pro licensing. From the Admin - Licenses page of Concord Pro's browser interface, delete the existing licenses (Altium Concord Pro and Altium Concord Pro CAL) and then add fresh instances back in. This will ensure you have the latest licensing, incorporating any licensing-related feature changes. While connection to Altium Concord Pro 1.1 is possible from Altium Designer 19.0, users are encouraged to update to the latest version of Altium Designer – especially where Server enhancements relate to changes to the user interface within Altium Design.GUI Change This release sees Concord Pro's browser interface given a 'GUI Makeover' - switching to a dark interface that is more in-keeping with the familiar look and feel of Altium Designer. Since Altium Designer and Altium Concord Pro are, in essence, symbiotic work partners, having them similarly themed gives a stronger feeling of consistency. While much of the content of the interface remains the same, you will notice some enhancements to controls here and there, to present an intuitive, sleek interface with which to interact with, and manage your Concord Pro installation. For more information about what Concord Pro's browser interface has to offer, and a great place to get a feeling for what has changed with the GUI, see the page Exploring the Browser-based Interface.New Interface for Managed Projects This release sees the

Altium Concord Pro includes a comprehensive server health monitoring system that allows Administrators to quickly ascertain and analyze the condition, or ‘health’ of a Concord Pro server. The health monitor is available from the Admin section of the server browser interface (the Server Health page), or as a standalone executable tool that is included in the Concord Pro installation on its host PC (the Server Health Monitor tool). The server health feature delivers a visual summary of the state of Concord Pro's configuration and services, information on the host machine's system resources, and also provides access to server status reports and log files. This provides an immediate overview of the server's status, which allows administrators to preemptively detect and resolve any issues that may affect Concord Pro users. Each approach to monitoring the server's health and status has its own distinct advantage: Server Health page – As part of Concord Pro's browser interface the Server Health page is available to administrators over the local network, which offers the convenience of remote access. Server Health Monitor tool – The standalone Health Monitor executable (avhealth.exe) is accessible regardless of the state of the server, and will therefore provide crucial data and information in the unlikely event that the server is not fully functioning.Server Health pageWithin Concord Pro's browser interface, select Admin » Health in the main menu to access the Server Health reporter page, which will indicate the overall status of the server installation at the time stamp reference shown in the top Status

User Management for Altium Concord Pro is performed from the Team area of the browser interface, accessed from an external browser. This provides the interface to the Identity Service (IDS), with which to define Concord Pro Server (and other service) access, through specification of Users and Roles. User management is performed through the Team area of Altium Concord Pro's browser interface.Controls are spread over the following sub-pages: Users - use this page to create and manage a list of users; people who are to have access to Altium Concord Pro and/or the associated technologies installed with it. Roles - use this page to create and manage a list of roles; roles allow you to further organize your users according to, for example, the particular section of the organization in which they are involved, or the design team they are in. Roles also make the sharing of Concord Pro content, and the configuration of other Concord Pro-served technologies, more streamlined. LDAP Sync - use this page to configure and run an LDAP Sync task. This allows the administrator of your Altium Concord Pro installation to leverage the network domain’s existing username and password credentials, so that user credentials do not have to be created manually one at a time on the Users page. When setup correctly, the Users page will automatically populate with user credentials, enabling any user listed to sign into Altium Concord Pro using their regular corporate network username and password.
