En 2012 Nuryn Sanlley se preparaba para celebrar los 25 años de su emblemático personaje infantil, “La Pinky”, cuando un sorpresivo tumor cerebral la sorprendió en medio de una vida productiva y cargada de creatividad.Este domingo 30 de abril la actriz cumplirá 11 años de haber partido del plano terrenal, llevándose con ella a la tierna niña pecosa, con vestido de lunares rojos, zapatos rojos, y colitas en el pelo, que acompañó la infancia de miles de niños dominicanos, desde la década de los 80.Este año Fidel López y su hija Catherine Peña Sanlley se preparan para llevar a escena su más emblemático musical “Papolino… ¿Dónde está Santa Claus?”, una versión que subirá a la Sala Carlos Piantini del Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito y que rendirá homenaje tanto al simbólico personaje de “La Pinky” como a la actriz, productora, cantante y creadora de talentos.Nuryn María del Consuelo Sanlley Pou, quien falleció a los 59 años de edad, el 30 de abril del 2012, fue una de las artistas más polifacéticas que haya exhibido el entretenimiento local. Freddy Beras Goico le da su primera oportunidad en “El Show del Mediodía” y así fue llevando su talento por otros programas y canales de televisión como “Show de Cecilia García”, “Fiesta de Teleantillas”, “Sobroshow”, “Calientísimo del 9” “El Gordo de la semana”.Destacándose como humorista, cantante y presentadora de televisión. Fue trabajando en el programa “Fiesta de Teleantillas” (1982) que le propusieron que creara un personaje para que interviniera durante las presentaciones de los artistas. Ella relataba que en el camerino, encontró un vestido lunares rojos y se peinó unas colitas, y así nació la niña más querida de los últimos tiempos. El nombre de “La Pinky” lo tomó porque así le llamaba su hermana mayor Jeannete, ya que cuando era pequeña era muy coloradita.on “La Pinky”se fue al “Calientísimo del 9”, en Color Visión. Es en 1984 que La Pinky llega al Palacio de Bellas Artes en la obra “Taratatatán, vamos a danzar, desde Cenicienta hasta Peter Pan”, producida por Patricia Ascuasiati.Dos años después Nuryn escribió el primer guion para el personaje “Paoplino… ¿Dónde está Santa Claus?” con el que logró 23 funciones consecutivas, en diciembre de 1986, en el Teatro Nacional.La Pinky se posicionó de tal manera que a partir de entonces los espectáculos infantiles fueron parte importante de la cartelera teatral.
