Hi,In browser I can only see "Kontakt", which contains content from Kontakt 7 (Factory Library 2). Can't see libraries as separate products on list to be able to choose content from Komplete 6 (Factory Library 1). I have everything installed and in Native Access I can see both Kontakt Factory vol 1 and 2. But not in Komplete Kontrol, or in Kontakt 7. 0 Best Answers @Medstone The "Kontakt" that you see in the new browser of Kontakt 7 and the Kontakt 7 you see in Komplete Kontrol is the new Kontakt Factory Library. It should look like this in Kontakt 7: And like this in Komplete Kontrol: Is that also your case ?I could also see that the old Kontakt 6 Factory Library doesn't show in the new Kontakt browser or in the Komplete Kontrol browser. I suspect that only one factory library can be shown in there. I'm not sure about the logic behind this, I'll try to get more info on that. 1 @Medstone Oh, sorry that I didn't get back to you. I was waiting to have a bit more information. So, it seems it is the way it is supposed to be. You can only access the old Kontakt Factory Library in the old browser. On the new browser of Kontakt or in Komplete Kontrol or Maschine you can only access the new factory library. 1 Answers Ok, I found that in Kontakt 7 its not showing in new broswer, but when activating list view on the left, like in Kontakt 6 both libraries are shown. Can't see them in Komplete Kontrol tho. 0 @Medstone The "Kontakt" that you see in the new browser of Kontakt 7 and the Kontakt 7 you see in Komplete Kontrol is the new Kontakt Factory Library. I can only see both libraries in Kontakt 7 when I use old list on the left, the one that looks like broswer in Kontakt 6. In new broswer in Kontakt 7, or in the Komplete Kontrol libraries are absent, and I can only find "Kontakt", just like on the screen you uploaded, and it contains only Factory Library 2. It seems that this view is kinda bugged, because it should view both libraries. 0 Is there any update

Kontrol blazed the trail, the Akai Advance controller series integrates all your VST instrument plug-ins into one host software—VIP—so you can search all your plug-in presets in one place, load and play them against each other, and manipulate them with pre-mapped hardware controls. Right now, this is the only hardware that will do that, and the 4.3-inch color display helps you do it with your eyes off the computer screen. Along with a generous software package, those exclusive features make the Advance 25, 49 and 61 well worth the extra money for software instrument junkies.Akai Advance vs. Komplete Kontrol S SeriesWhen Native Instruments introduced its Komplete Kontrol S keyboards last autumn, the dedicated controller entirely mapped NI’s Komplete software instruments and hosted them inside the Komplete Kontrol software, which let you browse and load all of Komplete’s instrument presets, as well as use the arpeggiator, special keyboard playing modes that played one-note chords and kept you in key, and exclusive features that utilized the keyboard’s LED color coded keys. However, there were a couple of big critiques that kept coming up. The Komplete Kontrol system would only work on NI’s own Komplete instruments, making it a potentially huge investment to get started, and making your other software instruments you owned less attractive in the process.Akai Advance 25Akai’s new Advance series of controllers, the 49-key Advance 49 that we’re reviewing here, and Advance 25 and Advance 61, aim to rectify those concerns. And while they don’t add the same kind of exclusive color-based features to plug-in instruments that Komplete Kontrol often does (such as preset color-coded keyboard zones that function in different ways for each instrument), the Advance series have their own, arguably better bragging points. Most importantly, the Advance controllers include their own Virtual Instrument Player (VIP) software that both hosts and maps any VST instrument (VSTi) plug-in that you have on your machine: From freeware to NI’s Komplete instruments, to any other VSTi, like Sylenth or the brand-new U-he Hive, Advance’s VIP system will host the plug-in and map its controls to its array of 8 endless encoders, 8 keyBundles : Komplete Kontrol : Get Komplete Kontrol - Native
With the purchase of a Kontrol S keyboard and announced in April that the Komplete Kontrol will begin support VSTs sometime this summer. Additionally, NI will launch a new Native Kontrol Standard for deep integration of third-party plug-ins on the Komplete Kontrol series. However, until that happens, Akai Advance is the only game in town for this kind of universal VSTi integration. And we will have to wait until later to directly compare the Akai Advance and the updated Komplete Kontrol. For now, the Advance series has other advantages: They have 4.3-inch color screen for rich visual feedback directly on the hardware, a lower price by about $100, and to my preference, a nicer, weightier feel to the semi-weighted keys. And for now the VIP software offers the kind of features that you’ll never want to be without once you use them. The ability to browse and load presets from all your VSTis and then to manipulate them with mapped controls from the hardware feels like the kind of next-level innovation that everyone will have to match in the next few years just to stay competitive. It’s a rare brand-agnostic function that puts user-friendliness above all else, and I congratulate Akai for being the first to do it. –Markkus RovitoIs this the mother of all midi keyboards? First there was S, then came A. and now we have M. Say hello to the third tier of Native Instruments’ keyboard controllers for the Komplete Kontrol platform. Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol S Series keyboards leave little to be desired for even the most discerning producer with their hi-res colour screens and the handy Light Guide system. Following that, the relatively new A Series brings a wealth of control to a less budgeted demographic. Now the mini-keyed baby of the family arrives and adds a new dimension of portability to the NI Komplete Kontrol ecosystem. The new M32 weights in at 1.45kg and is a cute 475 x 167mm. Many of the A and S Series’ physical controls are shared by the M32, such as the pre-mapped touch sensitive knobs, hybrid scroll wheel/joystick and backlit buttons. Ribbon sliders replace wheels for pitch bend and modulation and a foot pedal can be plugged into the back. Don’t be discouraged by the tiny OLED screen; as we discovered with the A Series, its size belies its considerable utility — be it scrolling through preset categories in Komplete Kontrol or reading out parameter values. The mini keys are great for laying down bass and lead lines but don’t expect to comfortably bash out a classical piece. Ableton Live 10 Lite is bundled with the M32. You also get a heap of Native Instruments goodies such as Maschine Essentials, Komplete Start (a siginificant production suite of synths and samples), Komplete Kontrol, Monark (monosynth), ReaktorBundles : Komplete Kontrol : Get Komplete Kontrol - Native Instruments
Hi,Regarding NKS.V-Collection 8.1 have NKS files from Arturia for all applications except for Analog Lab.So just update the applications. It's a free update for VC8.It's from the release of new Arturia applications for years been possible to use them in Komplete Kontrol and to create NKS file your self.NKS compatibility, ever since it was first offered, has become one of those things I would expect to have had on "Day 1" or very soon thereafter. You exspect too much i think. Arturia have btw as far as i recall mostly added NKS a short while after release of new applications. But you can't even exspect any manufactor to create NKS files and keep doing it in the future.I would rather exspect NI to have created a system, that does'nt require speciel presets, and that actually can do the same, that in example Arturia preset system can - like sharing presets between applications and have more browser options and more powerful search functionality. If you look in NI's forum, then you find many are creating NKS files for lots of applications that does'nt have NKS from the manufactor.NKS is not a industri standard like you seem to think it is.Why should i use Komplete Kontrol for Arturia products, when i have Arturias preset system? It only require to open one extra application (Komplete Kontrol) for each track to get less functionality and less work space. And saving in NKS will also force me to allways use Komplete Kontrol or create new presets for another preset system. Also keep in mind, that you can use Arturias products from day one in Komplete Kontrol and create your own NKS files. You can also cretae your own NKS files for Analog Lab, if you wish. But just keep in mind, that if you in example create a NKS file for a Mini V preset in Analog Lab, then it only can be used in Analog Lab, while you in Arturias own preset format system also would be able to use the same preset in Mini V. It's the same for any other application, that if you create a preset in a individual Arturia synth/ keyboard application, then you can use the same preset in Analog Lab, and this is'nt possible with NKS. This i think is a reason why Arturia does'nt make NKS for Analog Lab. Analog Lab is in a way also Arturias Komplete Kontrol, but for Arturias synths and keys only. And again, - you need to use Komplete Kontrol to use NKS files. I see many reasons to not use Komplete Kontrol. NKS have btw for a long time been discussed in other threads in the forums. How to Keep Komplete Kontrol 2.9 and Komplete
